The six standard GSM options
GSM is grams of material per square metre of finished sheet. Everything else in the specification stays the same across the range.
What GSM changes, and what it does not
Moving up the range increases the amount of material in every square metre of sheet. That reliably changes weight, folded bulk and cost, and it generally improves resistance to wear. It does not, on its own, tell you whether a sheet is waterproof, how strong its edges are, or how long it will last in your conditions.

Colours
Colour is a variant, not a separate grade. All three are available across the standard range.
- Blue — the most widely used, high visibility
- Yellow — high visibility, common in transport
- Transparent — where light needs to pass through

Questions about the range
What is an HDPE tarpaulin sheet?
A covering sheet woven from high-density polyethylene tapes and then laminated. The weave gives the sheet its strength and the lamination gives it a water-shedding surface. It is the most widely used general-purpose covering material in India because it combines low weight with economical production at large sizes.
How many GSM options does Double Kissan make?
Six as standard — 80, 100, 120, 160, 180 and 200 GSM — all available in blue, yellow and transparent. Other GSM values can be produced on custom orders subject to manufacturing capability.
Which GSM should I choose?

Are Double Kissan tarpaulins available in custom sizes?
Yes. Custom dimensions, colours and specifications are manufactured to order, subject to minimum order quantity and a factory capability check. Send your requirement through the custom tarpaulin enquiry.
What is the difference between the colours?
Blue, yellow and transparent are colour options rather than different product grades. Transparent is chosen where light needs to pass through — a covered balcony or a work area — and blue and yellow where visibility or privacy matters.
