About Double Kissan

The brand and the company

Two names appear across this site and they mean different things. Double Kissan is the brand under which the tarpaulin is sold. Ashoka Poly Laminators Pvt. Ltd. is the company that manufactures it. Every quotation, invoice and document carries both, so there is never ambiguity about who you are dealing with.

The company operates its own facility in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. That matters commercially rather than sentimentally: it means a specification sent to us is reviewed against the equipment that will produce it, and that a repeat order is made to the same specification rather than re-sourced from whoever quoted lowest that month.

What we make

One product family, done thoroughly. Laminated woven HDPE tarpaulin in six standard weights — 80, 100, 120, 160, 180 and 200 GSM — in blue, yellow and transparent, with custom dimensions, colours and specifications produced to order.

The name carries an agricultural association, and farms remain an important market. But the product is general-purpose waterproof covering, and it is used just as much on truck bodies, construction sites, warehouse yards, machinery and balconies. Positioning it as agriculture-only would misdescribe both the product and the people buying it.

How we approach product information

This site publishes a figure only once the factory has confirmed it, with a method named. Tear strength, tensile strength, GSM tolerance, UV specification, eyelet detail, standard sizes, minimum order quantities and lead times are confirmed this way — against your specific order, where a general number would not serve you as well.

That is a more useful position to be in with a procurement buyer, a dealer, or an answer engine reading the page on someone's behalf, than publishing a number first and correcting it later.
